We Got Married (WGM) Leeteuk and Kang So Ra

Lately, the weekdays went by on a mundane routine basis – waking up at 645am, getting ready for work by 745am, and hoping that #SMRTfail doesn’t literally fail on us. The 30-minute odd journey to work has been made better with the SuJu app playlist, SKIP BEAT drama series, and occasional YouTube-ing on SuJu MVs. Fan-girl much? :$ Heh.

Anyways, I am so hooked onto We Got Married (WGM) Leeteuk and Kang So Ra aka Dimple Couple! This pair is mad cute please ;D finished 10 episodes of the series within three days, and I just can’t wait for the next English subbed one to be out <3 Kimmy and I are like major fans of this series now /fan-girl sisters.

The year is coming to an end in two days’ time, and it’s the moment when we savour the bitterness/sweetness of what’s left of 2011 and hope that 2012 will be a much better one. The start of 2012 will be a hectic one with the various major work events /crossing my fingers. Christmas Day at Home, sweet home!

Woke up early in the morning, cramps spoilt my Christmas in a way too. Made it a point to stay home that day since everyone’s at home! Rainy day, in fact the downpour lasted the whole day..so bad that the vision from my window was blurred to the max. Dad went out, so there’s mom sister and myself left at home. We all snoozed the day away, LOL. Movie marathon – more of cartoon marathon with the likes of Ice Age 3, Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel, and other random Chinese movies.

Homecooked dinner by mommy completed the day, and I love how Christmas went this year

fuss-free steamboat, no Christmas gift exchange, just a heart-warming dinner at home.
Movies night, snoozes-ful afternoon, and best of all I reached home early!

23rd December 2010: Christmas with Nutties!

An annual must-have event on our list – Nutties Christmas Dinner! For the past years, it’s either held on 23rd or 24th ‘cos Phee has to be home on Christmas eve for her dad’s birthday. ‘cos we love her so much, so we held in on 23rd Dec 2010 this year! Daphy suggested Jack’s Place at West Coast Recreation Centre as 2D1N Korean BBQ at Tanjong Pagar was fully booked for Christmas week.  Blessing in disguise in a way ‘cos West Coast is so much nearer to Jurong East where we headed to for KTV at Chevrons!

At Jack’s Place, we exchanged gifts and it’s hilarious looking back at the photos (on my Facebook) ‘cos we really look like beggars asking for presents! Anyways, the secret gift exchange partners was a success, thanks to my sister’s help to pick them out and messaging everyone their partner. Stupid phee had to reply me aout it, SMACKS! The food was ok, not really worth the price we paid. Oh well, the company matters more!

En route to Chevron’s KTV! Jass’ AA had to leave first cos he had work the next day. Rest of us bused over, in the nick of time totally. Reached at 10pm, took up a package that costed S$32 – includes 3-hour usage of the room, snacks, 4 jelly drinks, one tomato juice. Awesome much for 8 of us! We topped up just a jar of green tea, and paid S$5 each. Compared to K-Box at Safra S$29++, this is such a good steal!

We had a crazy time at Chevrons, the emo songs, the high song, the emo-turned-high songs ‘cos Jass added humour into them. The ‘Always There’ carebear was the highlight in most pictures! Thanks Daphy for the cute and meaningful present, muahs* The night didnt end just at Chevrons. We decided to have supper too! Wanted Bt Timah Al Ameen but thinking that it’s a lil too far, we went to Jurong West instead. To our dismay (no thanks to Chiat, heh just joking!), the prata place he suggested was closing already. In the end, we went to this place down the street from Jurongville Secondary School. Fishball noodles, more HTHT, crappy Ch8 show on TV, headed home at 2+am. Great superduper night as always.

22nd December 2010: Christmas with Sisters!

Thankyou, sisters dears.

They say, people meet by chance and fate, but it’s up to them to maintain the friendship/relationship with each other. Knew this group of girls by chance whilst on search for project group mates in year 2/3 during poly days – sisters gang With sisTing as our dajie, she’s the one who never failed to lavish us with goodies such as snacks during lectures..the “twins” sisMeh and sisQin, my dear confidantes and partners-in-crime for all the fun and laughters. Thankful to have them by my side all this while, I think I am really blessed to have best friends to tide me through the near impossibles

Met up for Christmas gift exchange (and belated birthday presents for sisMeh and sisQin) on 22nd December at Sukiya, thanks to the girls for queueing up early! Had lotsa fun camwhoring, ripping open their bday gifts, HTHT session (mostly on me, gulps* sorry!)…simple night like this I cherish loads Will blog more about the food the next time!

Proceeded to McDonald’s for gift exchange ‘cos Sukiya was closing soon. So happy to receive the respective thoughtful gifts love the polaroids we took too! Thanks sisMeh for them and loving the cookies very much by sisQin, noms! Open a bakery okays, I’ll do PR for you FOC! And sisTing, the cup is awesomely cute…I cant bear to use it ._. (pictures of Xmas gifts will be posted later!).

Hung out till like 11+pm, reckoned it was too late to train home ‘cos there’s still work the next day! So, cabbed home but I was the only one who stay in the west (sad much!). Went home smiling, ‘cos it’s a great great night. Thanks sisters the bond we share is ultimate! Cant wait to meet up again

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

How’s your Christmas so far? I know it’s not like Christmas Christmas yet, but a lot of people around me are already in the festive mood! Christmas shopping, indulgence in food, happy mood. Yay! I am in the above atmosphere as well, albeit stupid cramps (prays*), and I am looking forward to spending time with dear friends! Love  last night most thus far, never laughed so much with mom and sis before Love them tons. Yahoo!
