LB Kassel Knot Skirt in Wine 

I carted out this piece in size M, it fits me nicely and not too snug. The material feels really comfy, but I think it may fur after some time. The drapes can be pulled up or down, depending on your preference. Great for office wear or weekend dates! Not too sure if I am letting it go, still contemplating on it now. Meh.

Just came back from a date night out with girlfriends in town, and we did some (window) shopping at H&M, Pazzion, and Charles & Keith! I bought this white lace blouse from H&M, for just S$17.90. The material is light, and definitely another versatile piece for work or weekends. Size 38 fits me loosely yay!

We also spotted bralets at H&M, but we thought the ones from Topshop are seriously much better in terms of design, boning structure, and the cutting as well. Nonetheless, I doubt I’m gonna buy any ‘cos 1) it looks better with high-waisted bottoms and I can’t pull off the look of high-waist cut, 2) the figure, and 3) can’t foresee myself wearing it. Having said that, the prints of these Topshop bralets are gorgeous, especially the white-based bralet! Did a Google search, and these bralets from Topshop popped up. NICE

We Found Love in a Hopeless Place;

My colleague/friend has shared this song with us recently; it’s by Rihanna and the tune’s pretty catchy.

What Dhi said is right; amidst the shit that we are stuck in, we managed to foster friendships and create some memory-worthy moments together.

Currently Travelling around Malaysia – from SG to Klang, to Jalan Pudu, to Behrang (Ipoh), to Jalan Pudu, to Rawang, to Behrang, to Klang, to Jalan Pudu, and now we are in Batu Caves area. Driving to and for isn’t easy for my dad, hence we really appreciate his effort and energy! Grandparents’ conditions are looking up, we are thankful that they are recovering.. Albeit a slow one.

And so, it’s Valentine’s Day in two days’ time. I’ll be having lessons on that night after work though. True to the title of this post, “we found love in a hopeless place”.

The above photograph was captured as I was looking out from my room’s window, one of the rare days that I still can witness such sights on a workday. It reminds me of Heaven ‘cos of the layer of seemingly cushioned clouds and the pinkish tone sky. Snap back to reality, and it’s time to hit the essay again. Yet another sleepless night, well almost. Too much thoughts lingering on one’s mind, akin to playing ping pong games. Tired and drained; it’s tough to want so much but yet all you can have is that little. Quoting a line from Edward Cullen in the first instalment of Twilight (yes I know, of all movies right?)…

“You’re everything that I want, and everything that I can’t have…”

Sometimes, all the dreams that I want to make plans for, they all seemed too faraway. Out of sight, yet still in the mind. Very lost…

Am I feeling better? Not really, but at least the mind’s clearer.

A week documented in visuals;

A whirlwind week that saw the end of my exams for this semester, I can only say that I have done my best and I pray for a smooth transition to the next semester! Another round of events over the weekend, work events that is. Last Friday and Saturday, I had a long car journey; so, out of boredom, I dabbled with my iPhone and snapped a couple of images of the beautiful clouds. This got me to be kind of fascinated with scenic landscapes and sky photography now! Check out the amateurish shots below, heh.

And last Friday evening, I had a great night with my KAL babes at our beloved Jenn‘s wedding. Thanks hannie for accompanying me to get some tonics for mommy, prior to making our way to Grand Hyatt Hotel =) On the way there, we met up with Yun and Yiling too! As usual, the endless gossips kicked start ;D Arriving at the wedding dinner venue, we were delighted to know that Jenn and Azlan had prepared a photo-booth corner for the dinner guests. Needless to say, with the camwhore nature in us, we had fun at the photo-booth and even more fun when the rest of the KALs arrived (Prisc and Lynn!). Here are a couple of photos to sum up the fun and laughters we had that night :B once again, congrats to the newly-weds – Jenn and Azlan!

And here’s a photograph of my OTD with my new SMooch Goldie Obi Belt. The belt is pretty unique with the gold rope to fasten the belt, and it can worn in many ways (major love). I would say that it would complement any top or dress, and makes a good accessory too! A gem for S$15, super worth it! The dress is another prized gem that mommy had picked for me from a retail store located at Jurong West Blk900+ area, a surprise find in a neighbourhood area.

And ending this post with my current screensaver that would possible melt any girl’s heart – Zhendong Ke, the male lead of the renowned movie “You’re the Apple of my Eye”. :B

A surprise from Stan (who’s based at CNB at the moment) when I met up with him yesterday to pass him the necklace that his friend has ordered from @myntshop. I asked him what’s the occasion, he said nothing. Probed further and he let out that I would probably be burning the midnight oil for my mugging in this coming two weeks. Hence, the Rilakkuma bear bolster and thermal flask to keep me company. Surprises never fail to lighten up one’s day, thank you!

Speaking of burning the midnight oil – I need lotsa caffaine for this two weeks. I dozed off whilst mugging last night, and five alarm clocks could not wake me up on this morning to mug hard. Panicky much? Yes I am indeed. Assignments are not too positive as well, hence the extra effort needed for the three papers.

A good pass is what I wanna get, a great grade for all three papers (all six modules) is what I hope to attain. Two weeks seemed impossible, but being myself – Noi, I’m gonna put in my best and chiong ahead!

No photo for day three as I zonked out after I bathed and replied to MYnt‘s emails. On a side note, we have managed to get re-stocks for Facets of Heart necklace, highly raved by lots of ladies! xoxo.

To cut a long story short, I really hope to complete my two assignments by Sunday so that I can set off on a celebratory break on Sunday till Tuesday!
