Super Junior Super Show 4 Singapore;

Published February 23, 2012 by myntshop

19th Feb 2012.

One of the best days ever so far in our lives for my sis and I! Thanks to ruoxuan (thank you dear!!!), we had managed to get tickets for Day Two of Super Junior Super Show 4 Singapore! On the other end, I felt bad towards my friend Y ‘cos she had tried to help me in getting a ticket for Day One. Heart-pain about letting the ticket go, but I reckon the money saved is better ‘cos each Cat One ticket costs S$231. /gulps. So much excitement in us as the day of the concert was approaching, we had even made simple fan boards! Guess the outburst of happiness in me when the fan board that I made for Siwon was noticed by him during the concert /beams. ^^

We went early on the day of the second show (Sunday) at 10.30am to queue for merchandise sales, but sadly… most of the items had already ran out of stock. We only managed to purchase the bag, folders, and fan-lights (that makes four fan-lights in total for us, ‘cos we went to purchase two from Comic Connection the day before). The concert was supposed to start at 4pm, so we loitered around Kallang Leisure Park to have our brunch and we were amazed to see the amount of people (fans) at the mall. Most of them were decked in sapphire blue (the colour for Super Junior), and carrying fan boards/ banners/ soft toys (?) in their hands. We even spotted (illegal) sales of unofficial SJ merchandise, some of them were being brought into the admin office of Indoor Stadium for questioning.

At about 1+pm to 3pm, a lot of the ELF had gathered outside the stadium, hoping to catch a glimpse of the boys before the concert started. And true enough, Dong Hae came out for a moment before heading back into the stadium again. Guess the volume of girls who thronged near the exit door :O it’s pretty amusing a sight. There were a lot of fan clubs giving out freebies – sticker cards, mini fans, and folders (which later got confiscated by the securities, boo). The poor volunteers who gave out the freebies were squashed by the fans, they kept pushing and pushing till the volunteers got really pissed -___-

(Us outside the stadium)

At 3.30pm, we were told that we could start queueing up to head inside the stadium as the bag check would take some time too. No camera, food, and drinks were allowed, but the bag check counter was pretty reasonable so the queue moved fast. Lo and behold, the moment we stepped into the stadium – happiness awaited us! :B /fangirl.

Freebies and banners from the respective members’ fan clubs – Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Leeteuk, and Sungmin.

We were told to hold the individual banners during their solo :B and that heart-shaped banner was to be held during ‘Our Love’ song. The boys were damn touched when this moment came on =’)

At 4+pm, the light dimmed and all the ELF started screaming like nobody’s business, blue light-sticks were lighted up, and you could hear all the happy shrieks. The concert started with ’Superman’, and the line-up was spectacular! Couldn’t take many photos due to security/copyright issues, but here are some snippets that I took (with watermarks on the images). =)

My love – Siwon oppa <3 :B

He was swinging by our area for a few times, but couldn’t really capture a good image of him. This is my favourite shot from the concert. Major swoons please!

————————–

Siwon Oppa was wearing a uniform blazer <3 haha, loves.

‘Do Re Mi’ – one of my favourite songs (out of the 36 songs that they sang) that night! Some of the best songs that nights were, White Christmas, Rokkugo (go see the fan cam on Eunhyuk <3), Your Grace is Enough (Siwon Solo!), Mr. Simple, Our Love… Actually all performances were great ‘cos the boys injected humour (lots of humour, especially in Good Friends), charm, and wonderful  choreographed moves! <3 <3

————————–

Songs after songs, ballads and beautifully choreographed dance moves – the boys from Super Junior totally rocked the Indoor Stadium (packed with almost 6,000 ELF) for 4 hours plus. It all happened so fast, and the ELF were reluctant to let the boys leave. A stellar performance, and kudos to their energy level ‘cos we were lethargic from just shouting! Lol.

————————–

A final bow to show their appreciation to ELF and all who were present; =’)

Our banners for Kyuhyun and Siwon oppas!

My colleague/friend has shared this song with us recently; it’s by Rihanna and the tune’s pretty catchy.

What Dhi said is right; amidst the shit that we are stuck in, we managed to foster friendships and create some memory-worthy moments together.

Currently Travelling around Malaysia – from SG to Klang, to Jalan Pudu, to Behrang (Ipoh), to Jalan Pudu, to Rawang, to Behrang, to Klang, to Jalan Pudu, and now we are in Batu Caves area. Driving to and for isn’t easy for my dad, hence we really appreciate his effort and energy! Grandparents’ conditions are looking up, we are thankful that they are recovering.. Albeit a slow one.

And so, it’s Valentine’s Day in two days’ time. I’ll be having lessons on that night after work though. True to the title of this post, “we found love in a hopeless place”.

Xoxo
Goodnight

Beautiful sight we immerse ourselves into,
the literal natural beauty.

Take a moment out of your busy life,
life’s bigger than it seems to be.

The above photograph was captured as I was looking out from my room’s window, one of the rare days that I still can witness such sights on a workday. It reminds me of Heaven ‘cos of the layer of seemingly cushioned clouds and the pinkish tone sky. Snap back to reality, and it’s time to hit the essay again. Tedious semester by far and it doesn’t help when gastric had to strike this week, hang in there peeps.

Ushering in the Year of Dragon;

Published February 5, 2012 by myntshop

In a twinkling of the eye and it’s already Day 14 of Lunar New Year! So many gatherings with friends (more than with relatives), and lou hei, dinners, and definitely, outfits! Here are some online apparels that I am decked out in the days leading up to Lunar New Year 2012, and during the new year period as well.

A week before CNY
HollyHoque Ruffles By My Sides Top in Coral/ MYnt Reflections Necklace

A super long top from their June 2011 collection, this chiffon top comes with an inner spag top as the outer layer is sheer. Good for dress down work days and weekend casual dates I’d say! :)

Eve of CNY Eve
Love, Bonito Covet Walsh Top in Black (Size M)/ MYnt Reflections Necklace

Another classic piece which needs no introduction – this Love, Bonito piece is a real beauty. The intricate crochet details makes the whole outfit more dainty. Albeit showing a bit of mid-rift, pairing with a long maxi skirt or mid-waist shorts should do the trick.

CNY Day One
HerWalkinCloset Oriental Lace CheongSum Inspired Dress in Coral/ MYnt Earrings

This lovely dress was kindly sponsored by Eils from HerWalkinCloset a year ago (IKR?!), and I didn’t have a chance to wear so I thought of wearing it for the first day of Dragon Year! Bearing in mind the mouths of my relatives who never fail to comment on my past years’ dressings, so I thought this safe piece would just keep their mouth shut. Ironically, we didn’t manage to bump into them this year. Lol.

CNY Day Two
Top from B&M store in Jurong Point/ The Tinsel Rack Floral Blossoms Paperbag Skirt in Violet Peonies/ MYnt Earrings

The coral top is from a B&M store in Jurong Point, and I got it at a steal of S$15 only! A tad sheer, but the scallop details help to cover the front portion. The paperbag skirt is a stunner which I had set my eyes upon this piece after Joyce uploaded on Facebook and Instagram! I took Size L, no thanks to my wide hipbone structure (bummer). Kudos to Joyce for throwing in a brown belt for every skirt, that’s what I call thoughtful service!

That rounds up my OTD posts for now; back to essay. Feeling super shagged and lost with the writing. I seriously loathe these Social Sciences modules, roars.

xoxo, Noi
